Is Spirituality another Business Model - Can one become a Spiritual Millionaire?

I came across an interesting podcast that featured a Shaman who published his book titled ' How to become a Spiritual Millionaire'. With the amount of ads we are bombarded with over social media, tracking our earnest search algorithm, that finding the genuine content through the swarm is one task, isn't it? So, we decide let us explore as much as we can, attend all the free webinars, take those short courses - all centred around spirituality, and energy manifestation, metaphysics even - its like everyone knows what the key is to success, but doesn't know how to apply it!

But this Shaman took me by surprise, as I was really impressed by what he said - he says spiritual awakening is a life long learning process, and to have reached a point to be able to share your learnings, its like that took you so many years of work on yourself, so much discipline and effort to uncover those Universal truths - and now you want to serve the people and help them elevate their lives too - and just like any other course that accelerates growth, spiritual modality is also a service that experts provide to accelerate personal growth.

And since spiritual growth is the key to living a fulfilling, content life, while unlocking all possible opportunities - it makes sense that just like we would invest in any education, spiritual educators too require that respect. We easily assume that when it comes to spirituality, that should be available without paying anything - because that is Divine knowledge, and yogis undertake a life of liberation, non attachment - so we feel that paying what we would for another professional course is better than investing in ones internal growth.

But, how ironic it is, that unless you grow internally you will not reflect growth externally - and no matter which success course you take, they all say that no matter which profession, the effort and habit building needs to start with you. It asks you to step out of your comfort zone, to overcome fears, to tell yourself you are amazing everyday - this seems to me like subtle spirituality, masked in jargons.

I feel everything links to inner stillness, and that the destination is the same for all, but the routes are many, and each route compels you to take that inward journey to know your true potential. So, if spiritual mentors are sharing their efforts, their learnings, their life keys - it too deserves the same space monetarily that others do. Because at the end what matters is the intention of the service or business - if it stands to add value to people, help them do good, and transform their lives - if the intention is of serving the community - be it a product, a spiritual yogic course, or a growth mindset course - a mentor too can become a Spiritual Millionaire, and we as students must support this positive thought process - and that as conscious individuals, we must acknowledge that wealth is also one more abundance with health, relationships, emotions - and that every service must have its recognised place, and so must service providers.

In the end, it is never between us and the people, it is always between Us and the Supreme - by supporting spiritual gurus, atleast the ones we find genuine, and have faith in, we are supporting the conscious collective energy for betterment of all.

Let me know your thoughts!

Love and Light!
