What is Spirituality? And how do I blend it in your Life?

Spirituality, a single word carries so much of knowledge in itself. So many meanings, and methods, and jargons. All but connected to one answer, of being your best blissful version. And while we try the several ways to imbibe it in us, we forget to see that is exists all around us and within us too. Like a little lamp flickering within, waiting to blaze and engulf our being. You see spirituality is never from the external, it blazes within and empowers the external. So, knowing what ignites that spark of Divine within us, is important to experience spirituality.

Not bound to religion, or any god, or any distinction - spirituality is the effortless being of human. When people think spiritual, they think they will be required to let go of many things, and that yogis are the way to spiritual being. So, we go about our everyday lives, hoping to make that time to meditate, trying to force our focus on the nothingness. We try so hard to hold on to it, hoping to experience all those things we have heard and read, hoping that the angels touch us gently, and have those visions, or the bolt of lightning that tells us we are doing the right thing.

We get so attached to these outcomes, that if we dont experience anything, we feel that it is not working for us. But it always is, it exists without us accepting it or not. Because mindfulness is not a practice, it is a way of being alive, in every moment. Meditation only helps us get the peaceful clarity. The practice only tells us to drop those layers of construct, and see that within us and others is the same Divine light.

Does that mean that successful busy people are not spiritual? If I look at Donald Trump and Sadhguru - is one spiritual and the other not?

Spirituality ignites confidence in us, it tells us to follow our passion without fear, to love and accept ourselves and others, and take all the steps we can in our capacity to fulfil our dreams. And both Donald Trump and Sadhguru do that - believe in their vision of how they want to use their humaness, and follow that path, and create a reality for themselves - not everyone agrees to their way of living - but that doesn't bother either, because they are focussed on using their human faculties to the fullest they can, maximising this life on earth.

This I feel is something we must all know - that if we are expanding our capabilities, be it with intelligence or with meditation, the outcome has to be complete passion for life. And that this unwavering passion and exuberance must exist in all our daily chores - and then we are spiritual.

The Divine doesn't need a set path to see your love for life, He gives you free will to choose the way you want to experience it, and every decision is with you - He can only shine his benevolence, when you do every act with utmost integrity, love, and the hunger for expansive experience.

Spirituality doesn't mean dropping your human emotions - be it anger, greed, desires - as just like love, compassion they too are a part of us - but its being able to transmute these for the good of ourselves. We all know the that acts of love feel good, and acts of anger leave us depleted - but so long as we are aware, we are already in control - and that is all spirituality is, being in control of your humanness, and to experience life in it fullness.

Dont fret if you haven't got to meditate regularly even when you planned so often, the fact that you are aware, and that in your work and daily life, you are upholding passion, integrity and your dreams, you are upholding this human form in the best experience.

Living life to the fullest, is the best alignment to Divine.
